The Ladies Interdenominational
Circle Meeting “The Uplifters”
The Uplifters Circle is a nondenomi-
national group of women dedicated to
missions, prayer and Bible study led
by Elsie Huffard. All are welcome, just
come to the Chapel at 2:00 pm to join
in fellowship with this wonderful group
of ladies every fourth Tuesday of the
month.

Occupational Therapy”
Join Jason Sparrow as he discusses this
month’s topic of “Occupational Thera-
py”. Occupational therapy helps people
improve their ability to perform tasks in
their daily living and working environ-
ments. The goal is to help clients have
independent, productive, and satisfying
lives. Smart Moves meets in the PAC
at 9:45 am, immediately following Ex-
ercise.

Support Group
Lamar Frizzell will lead the Bereave-
ment Support Group to serve people in
gaining perspective about their losses
and support them in regaining a healthy
quality of life. The group meets at 10:00
am in the Ante Room.

Kirby Pines Annual
Easter Egg Hunt
Join your friends and neighbors by The
Greenhouse at 10:00 am for an Easter
Egg Hunt! Ms. Patches will be joining
us again for face painting, and if we’re
lucky, the Easter Bunny will make a
surprise visit! Call Activities at 866-
4414
to make reservations and to give
the names and ages of any children
who will be attending. Please bring 12
candy-filled plastic eggs to the Activi-
ties office for your egg hunters who will
be attending by Thursday, April 17th,
and make sure the children bring their
Easter baskets. If the weather does not
cooperate, the alternate location will be
in the Lobby.

Defeating Diabetes”
Join Brittany Wells as she talks about
dealing with diabetes. If you have dia-
betes, no matter what type, it means you
have too much glucose in your blood,
although the reasons may differ. Too
much glucose can lead to serious health
problems. Eating a healthy diet, main-
taining a healthy weight and monitor-
ing your blood sugar levels are all part
of managing the disease. Brittany will
be in the Large Card Room at 10:30 am
to provide more information about this
important topic.
