Ella Fraticelli
Itsuko “Ella” Fraticelli moved to Kirby
Pines from Bartlett, TN, but was born in
Kobe City, Japan. She has 3 daughters,
many grandchildren, and 2 great
grandchildren. She also has a younger
sister who lives in Japan. Ella attended
Keio University and graduated with a
major in English. She briefly worked
as a flight attendant with Lufthansa

Analyst and a Cost Accountant for
General Electric. Later she assumed
the position of Cost Accountant for the
Sharp Corporation in Japan. Promotions
brought her to function as Translator/
Interpreter for the Sharp Corporation,
and Writer for the Executive Director
of Sharp Corporation in Japan.
Among the interesting things she has
experienced is visiting Aleppo, Syria
(
her father’s home) before the civil war,
and climbing Mt. Sinai and seeing the
sunrise around 5:00 a.m. Other travel
includes Spain, Morocco, Egypt, and
Peru. Other interests are guitar, growing
herbs, and intensive preparatory
research on countries to be visited.
A favorite family tradition is Buddhist
prayer every morning and practice
of 4 disciplines daily. She will be a
welcomed addition to the Kirby Pines
community. We wish her well for the
years to come.

someone to perform at their soirees, he
recommended Janet Templeton. Janet
