Tyrone goes above and beyond every day taking care of medical
maintenance, as well as helping with maintenance in the Estates
when needed.
He comes in after hours (even when not on call) and is there
any time I need him. His loyalty and dependability should be an
example to all employees.

Gather ‘round and celebrate
the joy that has been given.
A gift of love – of flesh and blood.
A tiny bit of heaven.
See the wonder of it all,
and marvel at the sight;
Share the happiness we know,
celebrate the life.
Make memories of the times to come,
of hours and days and years.
Mark down each step, each task,
each word – the laughter and the tears.
For a celebration of life is such, that one
must never be in too big a hurry to stop
and smell... to feel... to touch... to see.
Yes, gather ‘round and celebrate
the life that has been given,
A gift of love – of hope eternal.
Our tiny bit of heaven.
When man’s life span reaches the autumn of life, he must consider his needs for the remainder
of his life – until he reaches the age of December. This month of September, we all celebrate the
fact that Kirby Pines has been here for thirty years to meet those needs.
We are blessed to have leaders of foresight who recognized those needs 30 years ago and
provided a place for us. Celebrate that gift; give thanks for their wisdom. Celebrate your home at
Kirby Pines and the people who share it with you.

A Celebration of Kirby Pines

When August’s heat becomes an ember,
We turn our thoughts to sweet September,
1983,
when we remember the birth of Kirby Pines.
When men of vision made a plan,
To benefit their fellow man;
They bought some acres of prime land,
where they built Kirby Pines.
They provided homes for the residents,
Medical care for those with ailments,
Fun times for needed entertainments,
right here at Kirby Pines.
They provided a campus with beautiful grounds,
A lake, where nature mingles its sounds,
A place where love and laughter abounds,
A resort at Kirby Pines.
A spot for nourishment of the soul,
Where residents can experience the whole,
Of life, without worry to take a toll –
Our home at Kirby Pines.
