Club Meeting
You don’t need a green thumb to be a
member of this busy group. With spring
just around the corner, the Gro’ers are
planting for the season. Plots are still
available for any resident interested
in having their individual garden. Just

Foreign Affairs”
with The Iris Orchestra
Join the Iris Orchestra for an open re-
hearsal of their program “Foreign Af-
fairs” on Saturday, April 12th. Featur-
ing violinist Joshua Bell, the orchestra
will be playing Adams’ The Chairman
Dances, Lalo’s Symphonie Espagnole
and Rimsky-Korsakov’s Scheherazade.
Tickets are $25.00 at the door. The bus
will be leaving at 9:30 am, sign up in
Transportation.

flutist Jeanne Simmons and her accom-
panist. Jeanne has performed with the

Tai Chi
If you’re looking for a way to reduce
stress, consider tai chi (TIE-CHEE).
Originally developed for self-defense,
tai chi has evolved into a graceful form
of exercise that’s now used for stress
reduction and a variety of other health
conditions. Tai Chi meets in the Large
Card Room every Monday at 2:00 pm.
