Come out to the large card room each Wednesday at 1:15 pm for lessons and play. Apr 6: Did You Hear About the Morgans? In New York City, an estranged couple who witness a murder are relocated to small town Wyoming as part of the Witness Protection Program. Showing at 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm in the theatre. Apr 6: Ballroom Dancing Our mission is to share our love of ballroom dance with you. Ballroom dancing is that perfect combination of physical activity, social interaction, and mental stimulation, and it’s FUN! Join us every Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the PAC for a group class and ask us about private lessons. Apr 6: Bridge Group The Bridge Group meets every Wednes- day at 6:15 and is open to all residents. We will now have a monthly champion thanks to Jane Longfield who provided two trophies. The champions for March are Jeanette and Steve Martin. Jane Longfield and DonWiseWiseman came in second, followed by Sara Callaway and Jan Thompson. Currently there are 5 tables. Bring a partner and come join us. Apr 7: Bible Study with Dave Phillips Join Germantown Church of Christ’s Dave Phillips as he leads a group Bible Study every Thursday at 10:00 am in the chapel. All denominations invited. Apr 7: Spring Rummage Sale It’s that time of the year to do some Spring Cleaning and some of your trash may be someone else’s treasure. Wheth- er you’re selling or buying, come out to the PAC at 1:30 pm. Apr 7: Yellowstone Yellowstone follows the Dutton family, led by John Dutton, who controls the largest contiguous ranch in the United States. Showtime will be Thursdays at 1:30 pm. Apr 8: Music with Steve and Shannon Johnston The Steve and Shannon Duo includes husband and wife team Steve and Shan- non Johnston. The duo plays country, blues and good old rock and roll. They have played at casinos, Beale Street clubs and venues all around Memphis for years. Steve’s guitar playing and Shannon’s wonderful vocals bring this duo to life. You can watch this duo per- form in the PAC at 6:00 pm. Apr 9 & 23: Trivia Group All residents are welcome to attend this noncompetitive activity, and are en- couraged to participate, or just listen and enjoy. The THEME for April will be US and World Geography. However, trivia questions can be presented on any topic. Join us at 6:15 pm in the chapel. Apr 11 & 25: Alterations Come to the Arts and Crafts room the 2nd and 4th Monday at 9:30 am for all your alteration needs. Apr 12: A League of Their Own Two sisters join the first female profes- sional baseball league and struggle to help it succeed amidst their own grow- ing rivalry. Showing at 1:30 pm in the theatre. Apr 12: Birthday Night with Hank and Nora Hank and Nora sing and play guitar, performing classic country, vintage standards, and Memphis music. They enjoy performing gospel numbers, 1940s Frank Sinatra and Texas swing, classic country such as Hank Williams and Patsy Cline, Beatles, songs of the 1960s, and Memphis music including Elvis and Johnny Cash. Hank and Nora always engage the audience, making their show both fun and personal and always ensuring that participants feel special. Join us for the celebration at 6:30 pm in the PAC. Apr 13: Garden Gro'ers Come out and join the Garden Gro’ers. It’s planting time and we have plenty of projects ahead of us. Remember, share a tomato and make a friend. Apr 14: Orpheum: The Band's Visit The Band’s Visit Based on Israeli writ- er-director Eran Kolirin’s screenplay for his 2007 film of the same title, “The Band’s Visit” follows a group of Egyp- tian musicians who are stranded over- night in a sleepy desert town in Israel.
