Dec 8: Orpheum & The Entertainers: White Christmas Voices of The Cabaret Singers of the Or- pheum Theatre Group join with our own Entertainers Chorus to sing songs from the movie “White Christmas” and other season favorites. Dec 9: Bellevue Baptist: Singing Christmas Tree Come with us on a journey to the small coastal town of Manger Bay, the setting of Bellevue’s 2018 Singing Christmas Tree. As the residents of this close-knit com- munity face unexpected challenges and changes to the town they love, they will discover what is truly valuable in life and what it means to put their faith in the One who never changes. Dec 11: Grace Chrisitan Learning Center Carolers Don’t miss these adorable kindergarten children that will be here to Carol for you at 10:00 am in the Lobby. Dec 11: McWherter Senior Center: Steppin’ Out Dancers These ladies practice 2-3 times per week at the McWherter Senior Center in Mem- phis. Their ages range from 55 to 88. They entertain all over Memphis and surround- ing cities at retirement homes, nursing homes, special events, civic organizations, churches and country clubs. Don’t miss this talented group at 2:30 pm in the PAC. Dec 11: Estates Annual Christmas Party Join everyone in the lobby for one of our favorite nights in the year. Festivities are 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. So dress your holiday best and be ready for an evening of holi- day cheer and piano music with Jon Felix. Dec 12: Garden Club Meeting Twelve tomatoes plants will be ready for transplanting in December. Irrigation system is off. Hoses are disconnected and will be remove soon. Mustard, col- lard, kale and turnip greens are ready to be picked. Sign up for trellis or plot now. All pots will use wire baskets. Asparagus bed will be trimmed in Dec. to prepare for spring crop. No community plots next year, all general harvest will go to Lobby. Patio News: You must have 6 hours of sun to grow tomatoes. Invite new friends and residents who are interested in gardening. Dec 14: Music with D’Monet Having received her Bachelor of Arts De- gree in Vocal Music Performance at LeM- oyne Owen College, D’Monet cannot be defined as a Jazz, Rhythm and Blues or a Pop singer…but she has redefined the meaning of the traditional soul artist. D’Monet has shared her soul from New York to Los Angeles, but it’s only natural she makes Memphis, Tennessee the home of her “Futuristic Soul.” Don’t miss her at 6:00 pm in the Lobby. Dec 15: Briarcrest Youth Choir Come to the Lobby and enjoy the melo- dious sounds of Christmas. Briarcrest Christian School Elementary students will be here to perform and spread Christ- mas Cheer.
