Dec 1: Get Fit with Oasis Coordinator Mary Hand AdvancedWater Aerobics classes will be held on Mondays & Wednesdays at 8:30 am. Basic and Beginning Water Aero- bics is on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 9:30 am. Men’s Water Aerobics are held on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8:30 am. Ar- thritis Sit/Stand classes are on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 11:00 am in the PAC. Dec 2: Focus on Color Coloring books are incredibly simple, portable, easy to pick up and put down, and a colored–in page takes up almost no space. So come to the Arts & Crafts Room the first and third Monday at 10:00 am. Dec 2: First Monday Poetry Group Come to listen; come to read; come to recite from memory. Check out “The Poet’s Corner” on the post office bulle- tin board where a residential poet will be featured. We meet the first and third Monday of every month in the Ante Room at 10:00 am. Dec 4: Creative Aging: A Christmas Carol A Christmas Carol has been a Memphis family holiday tradition for 40 years-- the longest running recurrent play on any stage in the city. Miserly Ebeneezer Scrooge is approached by the ghostly vision of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, who warns him of an up- coming spiritual journey. An eye-open- ing exploration leads to happiness, en- lightenment, song, dance, and holiday cheer. Tickets are $5.00 at the door. Sign up in Transportation. Departure time is 12:30 pm. Bridget is now dedication half of the class to new students and the second half to refresh and teach advanced folks. Dec 4: Virtual Wii Bowling Come join the fun every Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 pm in the Large Card Room. No skill required. It is set up on the TV; all you have to do is check out the remotes from the Front Desk and re- turn them whenever your game is over. Dec 4: Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Join your friends in the movie theater to watch the lighting of the world famous Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree at 7:00 pm.
