Dec 1: Get Fit with Oasis Coordinator Mary Hand AdvancedWater Aerobics classes will be held on Mondays & Wednesdays at 8:30 am. Basic and Beginning Water Aero- bics is on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 9:30 am. Men’s Water Aerobics are held on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8:30 am. Ar- thritis Sit/Stand classes are on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 11:00 am in the PAC. Dec 2: Focus on Color Coloring books are incredibly simple, portable, easy to pick up and put down, and a colored–in page takes up almost no space. So come to the Arts & Crafts Room the first and third Monday at 10:00 am. Dec 2: First Monday Poetry Group Come to listen; come to read; come to recite from memory. Check out “The Poet’s Corner” on the post office bulle- tin board where a residential poet will be featured. We meet the first and third Monday of every month in the Ante Room at 10:00 am. Dec 2: Mahjong Join in and play Mahjong every Monday and Friday at 1:00 pm in the SCR. Dec 2: Game Play Group Like to play games? Bring your own to share or join in with someone already there! Dec 2: Blue Bloods Tom Selleck stars as Frank Reagan, the New York Police Commissioner, and patriarch of the Reagan clan, a multi- generational family of cops. Blue Bloods will be shown every Monday at 1:30 in the Movie Theater. Dec 2: Tai Chi Originally developed for self-defense, Tai Chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise. Dec 4: Creative Aging: A Christmas Carol A Christmas Carol has been a Memphis family holiday tradition for 40 years-- the longest running recurrent play on any stage in the city. Miserly Ebeneezer Scrooge is approached by the ghostly vision of his former business partner, Jacob Marley, who warns him of an up- coming spiritual journey. An eye-open- ing exploration leads to happiness, en- lightenment, song, dance, and holiday cheer. Tickets are $5.00 at the door. Sign up in Transportation. Departure time is 12:30 pm. Dec 4: Fairfield Road After losing his dream job in politics and learning that his longtime girlfriend has been unfaithful, Noah escapes to Cape Cod, where he stumbles into a new romance and an exciting career op- portunity while trying to make sense of his ruined life. Showtime 1:30 pm. Dec 4: Spanish Class Join Spanish Class every Wednesday at 1:30 pm in the Ante Room. Bridget is now dedication half of the class to new students and the second half to refresh and teach advanced folks. Dec 4: Virtual Wii Bowling Come join the fun every Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 pm in the Large Card Room. No skill required. It is set up on the TV; all you have to do is check out the remotes from the Front Desk and re- turn them whenever your game is over. Dec 4: Ballroom Dancing Join the gang for ballroom dancing les- sons with Ken Black. Lessons will take place every Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the PAC. Dec 4: Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree Lighting Join your friends in the movie theater to watch the lighting of the world famous Rockefeller Center Christmas Tree at 7:00 pm.
