Dec 17: The Book Baggers Book Baggers will be having a special Christmas Gathering. Join them for some fun, food and fellowship. They will meet in the Chapel at 9:30 am all our welcome. Dec 17: The Santa Clause The snow hits the fan when advertising executive Scott Calvin accidentally kills Santa and suddenly finds himself sad- dled with jolly Saint Nick’s job. While initially a Scrooge, Scott eventually be- comes a true believer in this merry fam- ily comedy. Showtimes 1:30 pm & 6:30 pm. Dec 18: Alzheimer’s Support Group Are you caring for a loved one with Alzheimers or dementia? Our support group meets the 3rd Wednesday of ev- ery month in the Ante Room at 10:00 am. Dec 18: Wrapped with Love The special ladies will be here to wrap your Christmas packages from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm. They will have every- thing they need to wrap your packages. They are doing this service to give back to the community. What a great Idea for Christmas. They will be located in the Arts & Crafts Room. Dec 22: Annunciation Greek Orthodox Carolers Join the Carolers from Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church for Chritmas Carols at 4:30 pm in the Lobby. Dec 24: Entertainers: Resident Christmas Sing-A-Long Join the Entertainers Chorus for an eve- ning of sing-a-longs, solos, poems, sto- ries and fun. We are also expecting San- ta Claus to find his way to Kirby Pines. Be sure and meet them in the PAC at 6:30 pm. Dec 25: White Christmas Bing Crosby and Danny Kaye play war buddies turned entertainers who fall for two sisters. The boys follow the girls to a resort owned by their former com- manding officer, and he’s in danger of losing the place. Showtimes 1:30 & 6:30 pm. Dec 27: Music with Hank, Stan & Mike Hank Sable moved to Memphis in 1993 to open a vintage guitar store across from the Peabody Hotel. He met Mem- phis musicians and began performing regularly. Hank has been a member of the Joyce Cobb band for 15 years, playing every Sunday for the Bosco’s’ brunch. Hank also performs with Nora Tucker, at the River Inn, and at Pau- lette’s. A long-time Creative Aging mu- sician, Hank plays guitar and violin. Memphis born Woodwinds Master, Stan Jackson was exposed to music at an early age. He plays flute, percussion and keyboards. Do miss this fabulous music in the Lobby at 6:00 pm. Dec 31: New Year's Eve Bash Take out the old and bring in the new! Join us and the Jim Mahannah Band from 6:30 to 8:30 pm in the PAC for one of our favorite parties of the year! Enjoy great music and dancing while nibbling on Hors d’oeurves and enjoying the company of our new and old friends.
