After he acci- dentally kills a man in a Santa suit, they are magically transported to the North Pole, where an elf explains that Scott must take Santa’s place before the next Christmas arrives. Showtime is 1:30 pm in the theatre. Dec 6 & 19: Tech Time Bring your phones, tablets, laptop what- ever issue you have they will be glad to help. Margie will be coming the 1st Tuesday of the month at 5:30 pm and Cathy will be coming every 3rd Monday at 10:30 am in the Sunroom. Dec 6: Birthday Night with Dr. Cox Come on to the PAC and hear Dr. Cox on the piano. Music will kick off at 6:30 pm. Dec 7: Catholic Services The Church of the Holy Spirit will be holding Catholic services in the chapel every Wednesday at 10:00 am. The sec- ond Wednesday of each month is mass and communion and the Rosary will be offered all other weeks. Dec 7: Pinecone Painters Enjoy art? Like doing acrylic, water- color, oil, or fabric? Come join the Pinecone Painters. They will meet each Wednesday at 10:00 am in the Arts and Crafts room. Dec 7: Needle Arts Group Have a passion for needle arts? Come join the group in the Sunroom on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm. Dec 7: Mah Jongg Lessons If you attended the MahJongg interest session and signed up for lessons this is for you! Don’t forget that we will meet in the LCR each Wednesday at 1:15 pm. Dec 7: Pearl Harbor A tale of war and romance mixed in with history. The story follows two life- long friends and a beautiful nurse who are caught up in the horror of an infa- mous Sunday morning in 1941. Show- time is 1:30 pm in the theatre. Dec 7: Ballroom Dancing Our mission is to share our love of ballroom dance with you. Ballroom dancing is that perfect combination of physical activity, social interaction, and mental stimulation, and it’s FUN! Join us every Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the PAC for a group class and ask us about private lessons. Dec 7: OperaMemphis Carolers Join the Opera Memphis Carolers in the lobby. You are not going to want to miss this! Music will kick off at 6:00 pm. Dec 7: Bridge Group The Bridge Group meets every Wednes- day at 6:15 pm and is open to all resi- dents. Dec 8: G-town Baptist Caroling Ready for some more Christmas? Come out and hear some carols from Germantown Baptist Church. Music starts at 10:30 am in the lobby. Dec 8: Line Dancers Rehearsal The line dancers have been working hard to bring some great dances to our healthcare areas as well as some other programs. We will be opening up the dress rehersal and are inviting all to come and see all their hard work. Join the line dancers in the PAC at 1:30 pm. Dec 9: PlumisAcademyCaroling We hope you’re in the Christmas sea- son! Swing by the lobby at 9:30 am for some more carols from the students at Plumis Academy. Dec 9: Music with David Virone David is a charismatic performer, with 20 years of guitar playing & singing ex- perience. He specializes in traditional American Folk music, Country, Gospel and good ol’ Rock n’ Roll. Join him in the lobby at 6:00 pm. Dec 10: Trivia Group All residents are welcome to attend this noncompetitive activity, and are en- couraged to participate, or just listen and enjoy. The THEME will be US and World History. However, trivia ques- tions can be presented on any topic. Join us at 6:15 pm in the ante room. Dec 11: Travelers: Singing Christmas Tree The Singing Christmas Tree is just that, a 44 foot tall Christmas tree that comes to live with live music and drama. This has been a tradition at Bellevue Baptist Church since 1976. Come by the Activ- ities office to reserve your spot by brin- ing $5 for transportation and your tick- et money. Tickets range from $5 to $25 depending on your choice of a seat. Dec 12: Alterations Come to the Arts and Crafts room the 2nd and 4th Monday at 9:30 am for all your alteration needs. Dec 13: Call of the Wild Buck is a big-hearted dog whose blissful domestic life gets turned upside down when he is suddenly uprooted from his California home and transplanted to the exotic wilds of the Alaskan Yukon in the 1890s. As the newest rookie on a mail-delivery dog sled team, Buck ex- periences the adventure of a lifetime as he ultimately finds his true place in the world. Showtimes are at 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm.
