Caroline has many varied interests like sewing, cooking, opera, theater, travel, family and friends. Along with Caroline’s interests, Neil adds gardening and woodworking. The Lloyds won’t be getting bored. An Army veteran, Neil served 2 years in the United States and Italy specializing in artillery and missiles. Neil and Caroline have visited multiples states and Canadian provinces over the years in their RV. They have also traveled to several destinations in Europe. This is a very active couple so you may run into them around campus taking a walk, gardening or exercising. We are delighted they chose Kirby Pines for this chapter of their life, give them a warm welcome and make them feel at home. Ne i l & Ca r o l i ne L l oyd J udy L i mbu r g Recently Judy Limburg moved to Kirby Pines from her former home in Memphis. She and her late husband had been married for 37 years and had lived in Phoenix, Arizona and Engadine, Michigan. They spent a lot of their time traveling between Michigan’s upper peninsula and Arizona. Judy graduated in 1959 from Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio with a BS in chemistry. She worked for 36 years with the federal government as a chemist. Her projects included working for the Federal Water Pollution Control and the U.S. Corps of Engineers. Upon meeting Judy, you’ll soon find out she has many varied interests including; barbershop harmony (attending barbershop quartet and chorus competitions all over the U.S.A.), sports (especially Michigan and Michigan State football), and photography. When Judy is asked if she collects anything, she replies that her family claims she collects everything. Then, she stays active unpacking and sorting everything she collects. Her friends describe Judy as family oriented, thoughtful, helpful, religious and private. We are so happy to have Judy as a new neighbor here at Kirby Pines. We know she will be a good fit for some of our activities and programs in the future. Give her a warm welcome and wish her a Happy New Year!
