Performing Arts Center
Shuffle on up to the PAC and have some
fun playing shuffleboard! Relieve stress
by getting your mind off of things, so-
cialize and engage in some friendly
competition. Shuffleboard will be held
every Wednesday at 10:00 am & Satur-
day at 4:00 pm.

Join the Kirby Pines Prayer Group in

Poetry Group
Come to listen; come to read; come to
recite from memory. Share a favorite
verse or two as others share their verse
with you. Everyone is welcome. Check
out “The Poet’s Corner” on the post of-
fice bulletin board where a residential
poet will be featured each month. The
group meets in the Ante Room every
first Monday at 10:00 am.

nally see some action when they spot
a lone German bomber trying to get
home. They get their first real test,
however, when they come across three
bombers with a fighter escort. This en-
counter is not survived by everyone.

1776
Peter Stone’s Pultizer Prize-winning
musical about the internecine congres-
sional squabbling that led to the sign-
ing of the Declaration of Independence
makes a glorious transition to the big
screen. William Daniels is John Adams,
Ken Howard is a statuesque Thomas Jef-
ferson, and Howard Da Silva is hilari-
ous as wit-cracker Ben Franklin. A very
funny -- and poignant -- history lesson
with a great score. Will be shown at 2:00
& 7:00
pm in the Movie Theater.

Come join the fun every Wednesday &
Friday afternoon at 2:00 pm in the Large
Card Room. No skill required. It is set
up on the TV; all you have to do is check
out the remotes from the Front Desk
and return them whenever your game

Band. This musical duo plays a wide
