Basic and Beginning Water Aerobics is on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 9:30 am. Men’s Water Aerobics are held on Tues- days &Thursdays at 8:30 am. Arthritis Sit/ Stand classes are on Tuesdays & Thurs- days at 11:00 am in the PAC. July 1: Focus on Color Coloring books are incredibly simple, portable, easy to pick up and put down, and a colored–in page takes up almost no space. So come to the Arts & Crafts Room the first and third Monday at 10:00 am. July 1: First Monday Poetry Group Come to listen; come to read; come to re- cite from memory. Check out “The Poet’s Corner” on the post office bulletin board where a residential poet will be featured. We meet the first Monday of every month in the Ante Room at 10:00 am. July 1: A Biblical Study of Heaven with Bob Barlow In this eight-week study, we will seek to answer over twenty commonly asked questions about Heaven. July 1: Tai Chi Originally developed for self-defense, Tai Chi has evolved into a graceful form of exercise. Every Monday in the PAC at 2:00 pm. July 1: Bingo Night Join us for a fun-filled evening of BINGO! Entry costs only $1 per card, with an op- portunity to win up to two prizes. Every Monday night at 6:30 pm in the PAC. July 3: Peach World Kirby Pines Farmers Market brought to you by Peach World will be back in the Lobby every Wednesday from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. I know we all can’t wait for those homegrown tomatoes, peaches, peas and other wonderful fresh produce. July 3: KP Travelers Meeting You’ll get to hear about some of the won- derful outings that Carol Yount has orga- nized so far for 2019. So if you have any place or thing in mind you are interested in be sure and bring those suggestions with you. They meet the first Wednesday of every month 10:00 am. July 3: Yoga Stretch This is not advanced so don’t worry about getting on the floor and not being able to get up. You will be sitting in a chair or standing. Class is every Wednesday at 10:30 am in the PAC. July 3: Spanish Class Join Spanish Class every Wednesday at 1:30 pm in the Ante Room. Bridget is now dedication half of the class to new stu- dents and the second half to refresh and teach advanced folks. July 3: Dear John A romantic drama about a soldier who falls for a conservative college student while he’s home on leave. Showtimes 1:30 pm & 6:30 pm. July 3: Virtual Wii Bowling Come join the fun every Wednesday af- ternoon at 2:00 pm in the Large Card Room. No skill required. It is set up on the TV; all you have to do is check out the remotes from the Front Desk and return them whenever your game is over. July 3: Ballroom Dancing Join the gang for ballroom dancing les- sons with Ken Black. Lessons will take place every Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the PAC. July 4: Annual 4th of July Parade Show your patriotism and community spirit! Don your red, white & blue, put on your marching shoes and meet us in the Lobby at 10:00 am, help us parade and spread our Patriotism and joy all around Kirby. Children, dogs and guests are en- couraged to march with us. The parade will exit the Lobby at 10:30 am.
