Mar 6: Yoga Stretch This is not advanced so don’t worry about getting on the floor and not being able to get up. You will be sitting in a chair or standing. Class is every Wednesday at 10:30 am in the PAC. Mar 6: Spanish Class Join Spanish Class every Wednesday at 1:30 pm in the Ante Room. Bridget is now dedication half of the class to new stu- dents and the second half to refresh and teach advanced folks. Mar 6: Cold Comfort Farm In this adaptation of the satirical Brit- ish novel, Flora Poste (Kate Beckinsale), a plucky London society girl orphaned at age 19, finds a new home with some rough relatives, the Starkadders of Cold Comfort Farm. Showtimes 1:30 pm & 6:30 pm. Mar 6: Ballroom Dancing Join the gang for ballroom dancing les- sons with Ken Black. Lessons will take place every Wednesday at 2:00 pm in the PAC. Mar 6: Virtual Wii Bowling Come join the fun every Wednesday af- ternoon at 2:00 pm in the Large Card Room. No skill required. It is set up on the TV; all you have to do is check out the remotes from the Front Desk and return them whenever your game is over. Mar 7: Bible Study with Dave Phillips Join Germantown Church of Christ’s Dave Phillips as he leads a group Bible Study every Thursday at 10:00 am in the Chapel. Dave is a great teacher and speak- er. All denominations invited. Mar 7: Lenten Luncheon Speaker is Rev. Buddy Stallings, Retired Episcopal priest from St. Bartholomew’s in New York City. Lunch after at the Waf- fle Shoppe. Mar 8: Music with The Isbell Family The Isbell Family is an Anointed Family of Gifted Songwriters and Beautiful Har- mony and are professionals in the south- ern and bluegrass/country gospel field! Mar 9 & 23: Through the Bible Through the Bible is a study of the Bible led by Gail Kommer and Barbara Hyland, meeting the 2nd and 4th Saturday of ev- ery month at 10:00 am in the Small Card Room. Bring a Bible and notebook. Join this group of ladies who enjoy learning about God’s Word. All are welcome. Mar 9 & 23: Trivia Night Come play trivia if you like to play just for fun, non-competitive. Meet the gang in the Lobby every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month at 6:15 pm. Mar 11: Magnum PI: Little Girl Who Magnum’s ex-wife fears for her life after her Vietnamese husband’s execution, and leaves her daughter with Thomas. Show- time 1:30 pm. Mar 12: Birthday Night with Brazil Join us in the lobby for the talented Brazil. Brazil has performed all over the world and is a fan favorite. Performance starts at 6:30 pm. Mar 13: Garden Club Meeting We have seeds, pots and trays ready. Spraying the green house for aphids is on tap. A spare part for the sprayer is on order. The green house will be closed for this. Plot sites will be allocated in March. There is still time to sign up for a garden site and tomato pots. Construction of trel- lis will start the last of March. A call for all hands to help. Mar 13: The Way An American father travels to France to retrieve the body of his estranged son, who died while attempting the pilgrim- age to Spain’s Santiago de Compostela. PAC at 2:00 pm. Mar 15: Music with Kenneth Jackson Kenneth Jackson is a dynamic enter- tainer and master teaching artist. His vo- cal style is reminiscent of Lou Rawls and Barry White. An accomplished composer, trumpeter, guitarist, and pianist, Kenneth began his professional career at age 14. Kenneth tours nationally, and has per- formed with renowned artists such as B.B. King, Ray Charles, Johnny Taylor, Sam and Dave and others. Join us in the lobby for an evening of Musical Bliss at 6:00 pm in the Lobby. Mar 18: Magnum: Paper War Magnum probes a gambling ring during a feud with Higgins, which culminates when they are trapped in an elevator. Showtime 1:30 pm. Mar 19: Lunch Bunch at Strano by Chef Josh Strano’s Chef Josh Steiner grew up in a predominately Sicilian and Moroccan kitchen under the watchful eye of his two grandmothers.
