Basic and Beginning Water Aero- bics is on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 9:30 am. Men’s Water Aerobics are held on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8:30 am. Ar- thritis Sit/Stand classes are on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 11:00 am in the PAC. Yoga Strech is on Live TV 10 at 12:45 pm Monday and Wednesdays. Folks are not allowed in her classes at this time. Mar 1: Focus on Color Coloring books are incredibly simple, portable, easy to pick up and put down, and a colored–in page takes up almost no space. So come to the Arts & Crafts Room the first and third Monday at 10:00 am. Mar 1: Poetry Group Come to listen; come to read; come to recite from memory. Everyone is wel- come. Check out “The Poet’s Corner” on the post office bulletin board where a residential poet will be featured each month. We meet the first & third Mon- day of every month in the Ante Room at 10:00 am. Mar 1: Yoga Stretch Yoga is known to have a wide range of benefits. This is not advanced so don’t worry about getting on the floor and not being able to get up. They are always looking for new members so if you enjoy singing go and check them out. Mar 2: BUNKO Join this fun group of folks every Tues- day at 1:30 pm in the LCR for the great game of BUNKO. Mar 2: Jesse Stone: Stone Cold A series of strange murders sends shiv- ers through a quiet New England town. It’s up to a hard-as-nails police chief, Jesse Stone, to find the psychopath be- hind the savage crimes. Previously a homicide detective in Los Angeles, the hard-drinking Stone has the credentials to track down the serial killer. The case takes an even more sinister turn when a teenage girl is raped, and Stone realiz- es that catching the killer will not be so easy. Showtimes 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Mar 3: Something the Lord Made Although Vivien Thomas, a black man in the 1930s, is originally hired as a jan- itor, he proves himself adept at assisting the “Blue Baby doctor,” Alfred Blalock, with his medical research. When Blalock insists that Thomas follow him to Johns Hopkins University, they must find a way to skirt a racist system to con- tinue their study of infant heart disease. Thomas is indispensable to Blalock’s progress, but Blalock is the only one who is allowed to receive the acclaim. Showtimes 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Mar 4: Bible Study with Dave Phillips Join Germantown Church of Christ’s Dave Phillips as he leads a group Bible Study every Thursday at 10:00 am in the PAC and Live TV 10. All denominations invited. Mar 4: Yellowstone As owners of the largest contiguous ranch in the United States, the Dutton clan seems to have it made. But family patriarch John must fend off threats of encroachment on his land by develop- ers, Native Americans and the country’s first national park. Showtime will be Thursdays at 1:30 pm. Mar 5: Art with Helen Whether you are already an artist or would like to learn, join teacher Helen Gaines on Fridays at 10:00 am in the Arts & Crafts Room. Mar 5: Music with Hank & Nora Hank and Nora sing and play guitar, performing classic country, vintage standards, and Memphis music. They enjoy performing gospel numbers, 1940s Frank Sinatra and Texas swing, classic country such as Hank Williams and Patsy Cline, Beatles, songs of the 1960s, and Memphis music including Elvis and Johnny Cash. Hank and Nora always engage the audience, making their show both fun and personal and always ensuring that participants feel special.
