We had a rare week, full of snow and ice, but appears spring is “Marching” in. The nice weather could not come at a better time after the year we have had. It was exactly one year ago that all of our lives as we know it came screeching to a halt. But just like the beginning of spring, you can feel a sense of renewal in the air. Our residents and employees have adapted and are quickly being vaccinated in hopes of a fresh start. Music also brings on sound sleep, boosts mood and reduces anxiety. While live performances remain limited during these challenging times, you can listen to many live performers on our in-house television station. So, take a close look at this months’ calendar and make plans now to improve your health. Our back cover folds out in celebration of women globally, but especially those at Kirby Pines. We have some amazing ladies in our midst, and March 8, is the day to celebrate them all. (see page 8). Enjoy and Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Don Cook Warming Up for His Photoshoot
