The Ladies Interdenominational
Circle Meeting “The Uplifters”
The Uplifters Circle is a nondenomi-
national group of women dedicated to
missions, prayer and Bible study led
by Elsie Huffard. All are welcome, just
come to the Chapel at 2:00 pm to join
in fellowship with this wonderful group
of ladies every fourth Tuesday of the

A dead body makes an appearance in a
circus act gone horribly wrong. Phryne
poses as a magician’s assistant to inves-
tigate. The scene brings back memories
of the last time she saw her younger sis-
ter, Janey. As children they would sneak
into the big top show, until the night

The Storm (1920-1933)
Franklin runs for Vice President of the
United States but his party loses the
election. The next summer, he is para-
lyzed from the waist down by polio.
Eleanor develops a political life of her
own. Franklin becomes Governor of
New York and, later, runs for the office
of President of the United States. Will

with Eleanor becomes a purely political
