As we age, we may occasionally need assistance with daily activities, transportation, medications, or managing health concerns. Accepting help when needed is not a loss of independence—it is a proactive step toward maintaining safety, health, and quality of life. For our Independent Living residents, maintaining independence begins with knowing when to ask for assistance, practicing safe mobility, using adaptive equipment when appropriate, and staying active physically, mentally, and socially. Caregivers also need encouragement, rest, and support to maintain their own well-being. To learn more, join us in the Sunroom at 2:00 pm.
