Lois Sargent Leigh Kimzey Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, Leigh has come full circle by moving to Kirby Pines from her home in East Memphis. Along the way, she also spent time in Alabama and Maryland, adding a few more places and experiences to her story. Now, she is ready to begin a new chapter surrounded by new neighbors and friends. Leigh graduated from the University of Maryland in 1984 with a bachelor’s degree in criminology. She has spent 23 years with CBRE Group Inc., where she continues to work as a senior lease administrator. Before joining CBRE, she worked as a corporate paralegal for Methodist Healthcare. In her free time, Leigh enjoys reading and cheering on her favorite college football and basketball teams: the University of Maryland and the University of Tennessee. Her Maryland Terrapin pride has followed her through the years, even inspiring quite a collection of turtle-themed gifts. Family traditions are also very important to Leigh. She loved gathering with loved ones for birthdays and holidays, with Christmas being her favorite. With all the festive activities and celebrations at Kirby Pines, she is sure to find plenty to enjoy this holiday season while making new memories with her neighbors. When asked how her friends would describe her, Leigh answered, “opinionated and forward.” She sounds like someone who knows her mind and isn’t afraid to speak it! So, be sure to say hello, strike up a conversation, and maybe even challenge her to a friendly debate about college sports. We are thrilled Leigh has chosen Kirby Pines as her new home. Please join us in giving her a warm welcome, and may this new chapter bring wonderful friendships, exciting experiences, and many happy memories! NEW RESIDENTS
