Basic and Beginning Water Aero- bics is on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 9:30 am. Men’s Water Aerobics are held on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8:30 am. Ar- thritis Sit/Stand classes are on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 11:00 am in the PAC. Yoga Strech is on Live TV 10 at 12:45 pm Monday and Wednesdays. Folks are not allowed in her classes at this time. Oct 1: Bible Study with Dave Phillips Join Germantown Church of Christ’s Dave Phillips as he leads a group Bible Study every Thursday at 10:00 am in the Chapel. All denominations invited. Oct 1: The Crown: Season 3 This historical drama centers on Queen Elizabeth II and the daunting challenges she faces after ascending to the throne at the age of 25 amid a declining British Empire and a political landscape in tur- moil. Oct 2: Reflections Edith Bengtson and Andy Saunders are hosting a program of wonderful musi- cal memories at 6:30 pm in the PAC and live TV 10. Oct 3: Men’s Christian Fellowship The Men’s Christian Fellowship meets ev- ery Saturday morning in the Large Card Room at 8:00 am. There is a rotating list of resident speakers who give a devotion at each meeting. Come enjoy coffee and fellowship with us each week. LarryMcK- enzie is Program Leader. Oct 3: Dead Sea Scrolls Dr Gary Rendsburg PhD of Rutgers University prepared 24 half hour lec- tures on the greatest religious arche- ological finds of modern times “The Dead Sea Scrolls’” As we continue this series tune your TV to channel 10 at 10:30 am each Saturday. Oct 5: Focus on Color Coloring books are incredibly simple, portable, easy to pick up and put down, and a colored–in page takes up almost no space. So come to the Arts & Crafts Room the first and third Monday at 10:00 am. Oct 5: Poetry Group Come to listen; come to read; come to recite from memory. Everyone is wel- come. Check out “The Poet’s Corner” on the post office bulletin board where a residential poet will be featured each month. We meet the first & third Mon- day of every month in the Ante Room at 10:00 am. Oct 5: Yoga Stretch Yoga is known to have a wide range of benefits. This is not advanced so don’t worry about getting on the floor and not being able to get up. Carol Stowell will talk about the curious combination of Asian and Westernized influences in Japan, fea- turing the country’s different religions, customs, culture and mythology. A fo- cus on Tokyo will illustrate how ancient structures blended within a sophisticat- ed, cosmopolitan city. Join the group at 9:30 am in the PAC or Live TV Channel 10. Oct 6: Entertainer’s Chorus Join the Entertainers every Tuesday at 1:00 pm in the Chapel to sing and fel- lowship. They are always looking for new members so if you enjoy singing go and check them out. Oct 6: BUNKO Join this fun group of folks every Tues- day at 1:30 pm in the LCR for the great game of BUNKO. Oct 6: Drop Zone Tough U.S. marshal Pete Nessip’s broth- er is killed while transporting criminal genius Earl Leedy. The hijackers have sprung Earl to help them with their plan: a scheme led by a former Drug Enforcement Administration agent to sell the DEA’s secrets. Showtimes 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm. Oct 7: Taken 2 Retired special ops agent Bryan Mills and his ex-wife are abducted in Istan- bul in a bid to avenge the deaths of his daughter Kim’s kidnappers.
