She is always willing to go above and beyond her work duties, and is also more than happy to help a coworker with anything. Larricka always puts her best foot forward as our Lead Waitress. Not only is she a star player in the Estates Dining Room, but she does a phenomenal job at our Kirby events as well. We are so grateful to have such a fantastic team member on our side. Describe yourself in five words: Smart, Dependable, Quiet, Funny, Beautiful What is your favorite thing about your job: I love the residents, they keep me going, and they are always making me smile. What do you do for fun: I love spending time with my son, Hunter, and with my friends. On my off days, I love to be at peace. Do you have any hobbies or interests: I like to draw, do puzzles, exercise and listen to music. What is your favorite food: Steak, Shrimp or Chicken Alfredo, Crab Legs What is your favorite song: Already Taken by Trey Songz What is something you are proud of: I'm proud of being a mother. My son motivates me to do better each and every day. Two friends of mine - both writers who live in Vermont - had short pieces published in NPR's "New Normal" newsletter and encouraged me to send something. I sent in something of my own, but I also sent in a paragraph from Joan Dodson's wonderful essay, "The NewNormal," and guess what? NPR published it! I'm forwarding their newsletter below.
