When Shelby Howell was just a young
girl, she wanted to have her wedding
pictures taken on the stairs and in the lobby
at Kirby Pines, so here she is!
Shelby was married Saturday, July 13th
at the White Station Church of Christ. Here,
she is joined by her mother, Tanya Howell
and her grandfather, resident William
Howell, on the very steps she dreamed of
long ago.
Congratulations, Shelby! We hope
nothing but the best for you and your new
journey in life!

this notable ocassion.
Our theme for this year’s celebration is “POSSIBLE” and the colors are Robin’s

hues of blue and prepare yourselves for all the activities , history
and fun we are planning for this September.
Here is a sample of some of the exciting things going
during the 30th Anniversary: Flag Dedication/Blessing, Flag
Raising Ceremony, Open “Microphone” Storytelling, Prayer
Breakfast, Furniture Stories, Memorial Service, Black Tie
Event, Community Day Cookout with Blue Grass Music,
Fashion Demonstration, 30th in Poetry, Pioneer’s Dinner,

Dogs are our link to paradise. They don’t know evil or jealousy or discontent. To sit with a dog on a hillside on a
glorious afternoon is to be back in Eden, where doing nothing was not boring--it was peace.”
