Garden Gro’ers
Club Meeting
You don’t need a green thumb to be a
member of this busy group. With spring
just around the corner, the Gro’ers are
getting ready to plant for the season.
Plots are still available for residents
to have their individual gardens. Just
contact Dr. Charles Parrott if you are
interested at 795-4394. Come on down
to the Greenhouse on Wednesday, Feb-
ruary 12th at 10:30 am to lend a hand!

Dance
Pictures are fun, dancing is too, so come
on up to the PAC for our big Valen-
tine ta-do! Pictures will be taken from
5:45
to 6:30 pm. The King and Queen
of Kirby Pines will be announced and
then the Memphis Symphony Big Band
will start to play, and you can dance the
night away.

Theatre Memphis Presents
Death of a Salesman”
Come to Theatre Memphis for a per-
formance of “Death of a Salesman”.
Written by Arthur Miller, and the win-
ner of both the Pulitzer Price and Tony
award for best play, “Death of a Sales-
man” tells the tale of a working class
family that stands divided. Willy Lo-
man, one of the most famous characters
in the history of American theater, is a
tortured soul hoping for a better life for
his wife and sons. Reconciliation and
forgiveness will come at a high price as
a secret is revealed. Call the box office
for tickets at 682-8323 and sign up with
Transportation. Bus leaves at 6:30 pm.

Music in the Lobby with
The Beverly Brothers
Join us at 6:00 pm in the Lobby to hear
the Beverly Brothers. This harmony
based duo plays the guitar, performing a
wide ranging group of songs from clas-
sic country to classic rock n roll favor-
ites. They offer harmony extraordinaire
and a fun energetic show that always
pleases and evokes smiles and fond re-
membrances.

Chorale
Come to 2nd Presbyterian Church on
Thursday, February 13th to hear a con-
cert featuring pieces from Mozart: Re-
gina Coeli and Mass in C Minor. Sign
up in Transportation, the bus will leave

Exercise Benefits”
Join Jason Sparrow as he discusses this
month’s topic of Exercise Benefits. The
health benefits of regular exercise and
physical activity are hard to ignore. Ex-
ercise controls weight, combats health
conditions and diseases, improves
mood, boosts energy, and promotes
better sleep. Smart Moves meets in the
Performing Arts Center at 9:45 am, im-
mediately following Exercise.
