The Ladies Interdenominational
Circle Meeting “The Uplifters”
The Uplifters Circle is a nondenomi-
national group of women dedicated to
missions, prayer and Bible study led
by Elsie Huffard. All are welcome, just
come to the Chapel at 2:00 pm to join
in fellowship with this wonderful group
of ladies every fourth Tuesday of the
month.

Kevin Carson
Join us in the Lobby at 6:00 pm to hear
Kevin Carson. He is a remarkably ver-
satile guitar player and vocalist who
has performed and recorded around the
world with such notables as Hootie and
The Blowfish, Edwin McDain and Wil-
lie Nelson. He specializes in songs from
the 50‘s with some 60‘s and 70‘s.

with the suave Lord Gillingham, who
flirts mildly with her. Will be shown at

German Requiem”
Come with us to the GPAC to enjoy a
segment of the Masterworks Series,
German Requiem”. They will perform
Schubert’s unfinished Symphony No. 8
and Brahms A German Requiem. Call
the box office for tickets at 537-2525.
Tickets are $45.00, however, if 20 or
more persons sign up they will be dis-
counted. Sign up in transportation, the
bus will be leaving at 2:00 pm.

Day
Join the Garden Gro’ers from 10:30 am
to 12:00 pm as they plant the seeds for
tomatoes, peppers & other veggies in
the greenhouse. Chosen because it is 60
days ‘til last frost of year, this Thursday
is the perfect opportunity for anyone
wanting to plant flowers or other plants.

Bereavement
Support Group
Kirby Pines will now be offering a Be-
reavement Support group for those of
our residents who have lost a loved one.
Lamar Frizzell will lead the Bereave-
ment Support Group to serve people in
gaining perspective about their losses
and support them in regaining a healthy
quality of life. The group meets the 3rd
Monday of every month at 10:00 am in
the Ante Room.
