Tai Chi
If you’re looking for a way to reduce
stress, consider tai chi (TIE-CHEE).
Originally developed for self-defense,
tai chi has evolved into a graceful form
of exercise that’s now used for stress
reduction and a variety of other health
conditions. Under the instruction of
Sheila Raye, Tai Chi meets in the Large
Card Room every Monday at 2:00 pm.

D-Day 70th Anniversary
Exhibit Grand Opening
Please join Mayor Joyner and guest
speaker Rear Admiral Thomas W. Ma-
rotta for a public reception and exhib-
it opening at the Morton Museum in
Collierville from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm,
in honor of the 70th Anniversary of
D-Day. There will be a Flag Ceremony
by Cub Scout Pack 50, and music by the
Collierville Children’s Choir. Sign up in
Transportation, the bus will be leaving
at 9:30 am.

The Winds of Fortune”
Journey into the Wild West in this
sweeping sensational epic drama! New-
comers attract attention when a violent
gang challenges the sheriff to a show-
down, while Japanese laborers put ev-
erything on the line when they attempt
to run their own farms. Will be shown
at 1:00 & 6:00 pm in the Movie Theater.

The Beavers”
The natural woodland engineers of the
great northwest are studied in fascinat-
ing detail in Beavers, originally made
for IMAX theaters. Acclaimed IMAX
cinematographer Andy Kitzanuks cap-
tures the beavers hard at work designing
complex dams, communities and apart-
ment dwellings in their element, the Ca-
nadian Rockies. Will be shown at 10:00
am & 2:00 pm in the Movie Theater.

on the TV; all you have to do is check out
the remotes from the Front Desk and re-
