All month long, residents are coming together to stretch, breathe, and move in ways that support strength, mobility, and peace of mind. Chair yoga continues to be a favorite among residents because it meets everyone exactly where they are. Movements are gentle, accessible, and designed to reduce stiffness, improve balance, and increase circulation — all from the comfort and stability of a chair. For many, it’s a safe and empowering way to stay active while honoring their body’s needs. Chair Yoga Month is about more than exercise. It’s about connection. Each class brings laughter, shared encouragement, and a sense of belonging that fills the room. Residents enjoy the calm, the companionship, and the confidence that comes from showing up for themselves and each other. Throughout April, participants can look forward to themed sessions, simple breathing practices, and new variations that make movement fun and approachable. Whether someone is brand‑new to yoga or a long‑time participant, every session offers something meaningful.
