These adventurous souls love to INSIDE THIS MONTH’S PINECONE What do Betty Moore, Colleen Thompson, Joy Wernet, Ruth Thurmond, Estelle Horn, Jennie Fulmer, Lenora Smith and Stella Ely have in common? They will all be 100 years young before the end of 2026! Actually, Betty Moore and Colleen Thompson turned 101 this year. And let us not forget Eloise Sattin who turns 100 in February 2027. That is “9” centurions right here at Kirby Pines! Aging is changing right before our eyes. It will become more and more commonplace. We will begin to see more and more of us, our family, and our friends achieve the age of 100 and more! What will be that outer limit? Will it be 106? 108? 112!!!? And why is it happening so frequently right here at Kirby Pines? Seniors today are invested in good healthcare. Preventative healthcare, routine visits with all of your physicians, as well as proper pharmacological support. Exercise and good nutrition are equally important. Are you seeing a theme here?
