Yoga Stretch
Yoga is known to have a wide range of
benefits- maybe you’re sleeping better
or getting fewer colds, your balance is
improving. If you have not yet joined
this class come and see what benefits it
might have for you. This is not advanced
so don’t worry about getting on the floor
and not being able to get up. You will be
sitting in a chair or standing. Class is ev-
ery Wednesday at 10:30 am in the PAC.

Like to play games? Bring your own to
share or join in with someone already
there! Meets in the Large Card Room
every Monday, Wednesday and Satur-
day at 1:30 pm.

Virtual Wii Bowling
Come join the fun every Wednesday
afternoon at 2:00 pm in the Large Card
Room. No skill required. It is set up on
the TV; all you have to do is check out
the remotes from the Front Desk and
return them whenever your game is
over.

The Sacketts: Part 1
To avoid a Tennessee blood feud, two
Sackett brothers head westward toward
an uncertain future. “Ride with the law,”

Glenn Ford, Ben Johnson, Slim Pickens
and more in this epic saga based on two
of more than 100 books by the world’s
most beloved novelist of the American
frontier, Louis L ’Amour. Movie Show-
times 1:30 pm & 6:30 pm. This is a two
part disk. The second and last half will
be played on Wednesday July, 13th.

IMAX: Birds of the Gods
Deep within the rain forests of New
Guinea live birds bearing almost im-
possibly beautiful plumage. Known as
“birds of paradise,” these creatures have
inspired explorers and ornithologists
for centuries. Renowned naturalist Da-
vid Attenborough heads a team of sci-
entists as they seek to film these elusive
animals in their stunning natural habi-
tat. Along the way we learn of their pe-
culiar habits and elaborate mating ritu-
als. Movie times 10:30 am & 1:30 pm.

Musc with Luke, Emily
and Grant
Many of you have seen these young peo-
ple before! They are the great grandchil-
dren of Lenora Smith. They play violin,
cello and piano. This is a concert you
don’t want to miss. They are fabulous.

Through the Bible
Through the Bible is an intense study of
the Bible led by Gail Kommer, meeting
the second Saturday of every month at
10:30 am in the Chapel. Class discus-
sion encouraged. Join this group of la-
dies who enjoy learning about God’s
Word.

Learn the ins and outs of how and what
Medicare pays for from wheelchairs to
Oxygen. Understand who can provide

Concert with Brazil
Brazil will be here to entertain us on
Birthday Night with a style of music
that can best be comprehended as soft
and smooth. The ageless times of his
music covers the decades giving him the
opportunity to present his audiences a
vast array of music and pleasure. Tues-
day July 12th at 6:30 pm in the PAC.

Garden Gro’ers
Club Meeting
You don’t need a green thumb to be a
member of this busy group. Harvest is
on and we have tomatoes and onions
ready for picking. The secret Water-
melon Patch melons will be ripe and
ready for eating at our August Meeting
on Wednesday, the 10th. If you did not
receive a container please call Charles.
Remember, give a tomato and make a
friend. Come on down to the Green-
house every 2nd Wednesday at 10:30am

Creative Aging: Elaine
Blanchard & Laurence Albert
The Senior Arts Series and Creative Ag-
ing musicians are teaming up to bring
you musical programs every other
month. The July program will feature
international opera singer Laurence
Albert. Albert was born and raised in
Memphis, TN, like many musicians.
He has performed all over the world,
including the Paris Opera House, Oper
Frankfurt in Germany, and Opera Ire-
land along with Opera Theatre of St.
Louis and Opera Memphis. Join us in
welcoming a fellow Memphian and his
talents on July 13th! Sign up in Trans-
portation. Bus leaves at 12:15. Tickets
