Music in the Lobby with
Julianne Thomas & Dom Fosco
Julianne and Dom have been making
music all of their lives because it’s a pas-
sion. They each have many accomplish-
ments in their long careers but along the
way, the best reward is the love of shar-
ing what they do. Julianne brings you a
stirring vocal style with a joyful pres-
ence while Dom is the amazing instru-
mentalist on keyboard, sax, and back-
grounds. They have a full band sound
with just the two of them! Their reper-
toire for Creative Aging includes tradi-
tional jazz, standards, blues, and R&B.
Everyone will sing and smile, swoon
over the tunes, and tap their toes while
Julianne and Dom create a journey back
in time that is “Unforgettable.” Because

Music in the Lobby with
Gary Abbott
Gary does not play a musical instru-
ment, but he has perfected the style of
singing with musical soundtracks and is
the forerunner of such a system, having
developed the system and the style years
before karaoke was ever invented. His
rich vocals, and his song selection, are
especially suited for the more mature
audience wherever he goes. His enter-
taining style is a blend between Wayne
Newton and Elvis Presley, with the
smooth vocals of an Eddy Arnold or Jim
Reeves. Join us in The Lobby at 6:00pm

Book Signing and Presentation
by David Waddell
Join us at 6:30 pm in the PAC for a pre-
sentation and book signing of David
Waddell’s new book. “Characters of
the Bible” Finding My Stories in their
Stories: As we study the Bible, we may
believe we are far removed from the
people described on those pages. Af-
ter all, many played significant roles in
helping Jesus spread the gospel. Most of
us find it difficult to picture ourselves in
that disciple-type role because we are
sinful and don’t always make the wisest
decisions. This event will be hosted by
Kirby’s Book Discussion Group.
