BeBops” are a “ROCKIN” two-
piece performance act along the lines
of early Elvis and Bill Haley and The
Comets. Johnny “Lightning” Daytona
plays guitar and harmonica and Mary
The Jungle Cat” Rich plays drums
and percussion. Together they form a
magically electrifying stage show that
is fresh, fun, and high energy. Bring the
family to The Performing Arts Center at

Night of the Stars” on Friday June

th at 7:00 p.m. in The Performing
Arts Center. If you sing, dance, play
an instrument, do readings, tell jokes
or stories, do stand-up comedy or
skits, please volunteer to entertain our
residents and guests. Creative Aging
will be judging our acts. The winners
will be performing at Creative Aging’s
Senior Showcase” which we are proud
to announce will be held at Kirby Pines
this year! Please volunteer by calling

Ugliest Tie Contest
Happy Father’s Day! Dads, bring out
that awful tie that’s been collecting dust
in the back of your closet and it could
make you a winner! On Sunday, June

th at 12:30 p.m. in the Dining Room,
we will hold our annual Ugliest Tie
Contest! You might even win dinner for
two at the next Kirby Night of Exquisite
Cuisine.

Moves
This month’s Smart Moves topic is
Understanding Chronic Obstructive
Pulmonary Disease,” or COPD, one
of the most common lung diseases
which makes it hard to breathe. Smart
Moves begins at 9:45 a.m. immediately
following Exercise.

luau party and dance with The Jim
Mahannah Band! Party starts with hula

Father’s Day Concert
with Donna Wolf
Violinist and fiddler Donna Wolf
was raised in Louisville, Kentucky,
and currently resides in Memphis,
Tennessee. She started playing the
violin classically at the age of 10 years
old. She is a free lance violinist/fiddler
and plays many genres of music; from
Celtic to Bluegrass, Folk to Rock,
Christian to Classical. Music is her
passion! Donna is celebrating Father’s
Day with us at 1:30 p.m. in The Lobby.
