Do you or someone that you know have arthritis? For many the
answer will be, yes. Roughly 27 million Americans struggle
with this chronic disease on a day-to-day basis. Arthritis is
defined as “a feeling of pain and/or stiffness in the body”.
How many of us can say that we have or have had “pain”
or “stiffness” throughout our bodies? I’m sure the answer is
mostly everyone.
Please come celebrate Arthritis awareness month with us
on Monday, May 11th in the LCR at 10:30 in the morning to
learn all about this chronic disease. We will be discussing the
different types of arthritis, the diagnosis of arthritis, and we
will also talk about treatment for arthritis.

Arthritis is inflammation of one or more of your joints. The main symptoms of arthritis are joint pain and stiffness,
which typically worsen with age. The most common types of arthritis are osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis.
