The Book
Baggers
Whether you read or would like to hear
about books being discussed, come and
check it out. This is a great way to ex-
pand your horizons. This month we will
be discussing “To Kill a Mockingbird”
by Harper Lee, Tuesday, October 27 at
9:30 am in the Chapel. The movie, “ To
Kill a Mocking Bird” will be played in
the theater on Oct 24th & 25th.

Circle Meeting “The Uplifters”
The Uplifters is a nondenominational
group of women dedicated to missions,
prayer and Bible study led by Elsie Huf-
fard. All are welcome to join in fellow-

downtown to Bass Pro on Tuesday, Oct
27 at 9:00 am Charge for bus will be
$3.00. There is no entrance fee at Bass
pro, there is a $10.00 charge to go up in
the tallest glass freestanding elevator.
You will need money for lunch. Sign up
in transportation. If you sign up for this
or any trip and are not able to go please
scratch through your name or call the
front desk and they can do it for you.

Theatre Memphis Presents
“Wait Until Dark”
“Wait Until Dark” is a suspenseful thrill-
er. Unknowingly in possession of illegal
drugs, Sam and his blind wife, Susy,
are the target of three con men trying
to retrieve the contraband. Deception,
murder, and intimidation force Susy to
use all of her wits, and the darkness she
is familiar with, to survive. Thursday,

Mississippi Wildlife Presentation
and Book Signing
Andi Lehman with Mississippi Wildlife
Rehabilitation is also an author of sto-
ries for Chicken Soup for the Soul. Her
program will feature several animals
from the Wildlife Rehab Program, such
as owls, hawks, rabbits, a flying squirrel
and snakes. One of her first stories pub-
lished in the book collection is about
a snake. Andi and fellow author Tracy
Crump will also be talking about the
books and will have some for sale. Fri-
day, October 30 at 1:30 pm in The PAC.
