Magnum P.I.:
No Need To Know
Magnum is hired by two secret service
agents to protect Higgins’ old army
comrades from assassins trying to si-
lence him before he can testify against
the IRA. Movie Showtimes 10:30 am &
1:30 pm.
July 1:
Patriotic Sing-A-Long
Join the gang in the PAC at 6:30 pm as
we salute America with patriotic poems,
songs and service experiences of veter-
ans. Special guest is Jim Chester, former
choral director at Harding Academy.
July 3:
Patriotic Pops with the
Memphis Wind Symphony
Hop on the bus and go with us to the
First Baptist Church for a Patriotic Pops
Concert with the Memphis Wind Sym-
phony. We loved this group when they
played here on birthday night in May.
Many of you expressed interest in going
to this concert. Senior tickets are $10.00
at the door, children under 12 free. Sign
up in transportation. Bus leaves at 1:45
pm. Concert starts at 3:00 pm.
July 3:
Music in the PAC with
Matthew & Jennifer
Matthew and Jennifer married in the
spring of 2014, and have been making
music together ever since. Matthew is
a school teacher and Minister of Music
at Faith Anglican Church, and Jennifer
is a jewelry designer with her own busi-
ness, JPD in the Cordova area. Matthew
and Jennifer, both preachers’ kids, have
been around church music their whole
lives. The Brewers love coming to Kir-
by Pines, and have already made won-
derful friends here. Come join them on
Sunday afternoon from 3:30 pm to 5 pm
for worship and music in the PAC on
Sunday, June 3rd and Sunday, June 24th.
July 4:
4th of July Parade
Show your patriotism and community
spirit! Don your red, white & blue, put
on your marching shoes and meet us in
the Lobby by 10:15 am, help us parade
and spread Patriotism and joy around
Kirby. Children, dogs and guests are en-
couraged to march with us. The parade
will exit the Lobby for the medical areas
at 10:30 am.

Everyone loves ice cream after an event-
ful day. Come down to the Lobby sun-
room from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm for a
nice cold ice cream Sundae, served and
sponsored by your friends from Caring
in Place.

Poetry Group
Come to listen; come to read; come to
recite from memory. Share a favorite
verse or two as others share their verse
with you. Everyone is welcome. We
meet the first Monday of every month.
Due to the 4th Parade we are meeting
this month on Tuesday the 5th in the
Chapel at 10:00 am.

Please join us at 2:00 pm in the PAC
to see these young performers share
their talents via song, dance and music
during their summer talent showcase.
This will be the 7th year that they have
been coming here to share their talent.

AdvancedWater Aerobics classes will be
held on Mondays & Wednesdays at 8:30
am. Basic and Beginning Water Aero-
bics is on Tuesdays & Thursdays at 9:30
am. Men’s Water Aerobics are held on
Tuesdays & Thursdays at 8:30 am. Ar-
thritis Sit/Stand classes are on Tuesdays
& Thursdays at 11:00 am in the Arts &
Crafts Room.

KP Travelers Meeting
Calling all adventurous spirits! The
Travelers are back in action and will be
meeting to discuss upcoming outings
and trips for 2016. The group meets on
the first Wednesday of every month at
10:00 am in the Large Card Room. They
are always interested in new ideas of
places to go and things to do.

Peach World Farmer’s
Market
Kirby Pines Farmers Market brought to
you by Peach World will be back in the
Lobby every Wednesday from 10:30 am
to 2:00 pm. I know we all can’t wait for
those homegrown tomatoes, peaches,
peas and other wonderful fresh pro-
duce.
